Nice Break

We are off this weekend, which is a very nice treat!

Really haven't had a lot to blog about, other than some good hard practicing going on this week. The players and coaches seemed to be really focused on next weeks opponent, the Washington Huskies.

We are all set up for the trip to Seattle. Bekins moving will be picking up our player bags at the airport next Friday. Since they moved the game time to 7pm, it looks like we will have to put the player bags back on the charter after the game because Bob and Bob of Horizon Moving here in Tucson feel like their truck will not return until noonish on the following Monday.

This is a little different than usual for us. We generally just put the player bags on our big equipment truck for the ride back to Tucson. This trip to Seattle will conclude a month of being on the road. Then, we will be home for a month!

I am looking forward to watching some GREAT football games this weekend. It all started out last night by watching my favorite Big 12 team, the Colorado Buffaloes playing at West Virginia in Morgantown. Former co-workers, J.T. Galloway and Nick Sprouse (Tuffy) are running the show in the equipment room for Colorado Football. Hey, they are undefeated in the Big 12, it is a new season up there!

Speaking of those two guys, I need to start doing a feature on all the GREAT guys I have had the pleasure of working with over my 30+ years in this business that are doing this kind of work all over the country. Again, I am the luckiest guy in the world for having relationships with these great equipment managers, and being able to work with them all these years.
