It was our first home game in just over a month and the crowd was waiting with enthusiasm. We had all kinds of guest at the game from Dallas Cowboy All Pro kicker Nick Folk, to super fan, David Hasselhoff.
I tried to get a different perspective of our day. Instead of pictures of our work in the locker room and on the field, I thought I would share all of the excitement all of us felt before, during, and after the game.
Nick Foles started his third game and threw for over 400 yards as the offense had almost 600 yards against a very good Stanford team. Robert Golden started the game off with a big Pick 6 touchdown. Juron Criner also had a huge game.
The biggest star and hero at the game though was Lt. Colonel Greg Gadson. He played for Coach Kish at Army, and he and coach Kish remained very close over all the years. Coach Kish saw then what we all know now, Greg Gadson is a very special person. While serving our country in Iraq, he lost both of his legs from a roadside bomb. He is without a doubt, the most courageous man I have ever met. He visits our team frequently and he always has a special message for the team. Yesterday was no exception!
