We had practice this morning. It poured rain the entire time. We are currently at the gymnasium drying footballs, shoulder pads, and shoes while the rest of the group is doing laundry for a 6 PM practice.
Unfortunately, I'm having to relay the blog info back to Tucson via email due to internet difficulties. Even though I have a lot of great pictures of set-up and work we're doing this afternoon, I'll have to share them once we get the internet problem solved.
As you can imagine, a full practice in a downpour is one of an equipment manager's biggest nightmares. We will be busy all day getting ready for tonight's practice but all of us still have smiles on our faces and joy in our hearts. We're all having fun down at Ft. Huachuca!
